A lovely, unexpected springtime gift....

When I purchased my little cottage in the coldest, wettest streak of winter, I had no idea what my barren trees would look like come springtime. Imagine my joy when this gorgeous burst of seasonal change appeared in my front yard...and I have two of them! The view is from my front porch...

A Backwards View of Angie's Cottage!!

My intention was to have these photos posted in reverse order; well, it didn't publish as I had expected. So, if you want to start from the beginning, scroll down and "read upwards" to see the series in order!

....the guest bathroom...a good start, but I'm not quite finished yet. Need some artwork and some candles/flowers, etc.

I wanted some nice color...love the shades in the shower curtain.

Yes, I took a picture of the tub, with the "stool" in the background.
Older countertops, but not in bad shape.

Part Three of "Settling In"...
I can't help it if I'm not a web master/mistress!!
A word of explanation...I tried to capture the colorful texture of the kitchen walls and the faux paint glaze. I also wanted to show off the terrific countertops that were recently installed. I hope the photos do justice...

OOPS....Part One of "Settling In" appears below this post (which is Part Two of "Settling In")

I like the openness of this little house; it's fun to look into the kitchen from the
dining room and vice versa, from the dining room to the kitchen.
Great window above the kitchen sink...the black sink is really cool!
The kitchen is small, but very nicely arranged for space conservation.
Cute little wine rack above the refrigerator.
This view is from the hallway entrance to the kitchen.

New Year -- New Home! Settling in....

Here are a few pics. I'll do separate posts to accommodate all the photos.

It's coming along...slow but sure!

The front of my "cottage"...it's still winter, so no grass!

Walk in the front door and enter to your left; you'll
see the living room and the dining room...
this is a circular floor plan...I love it!

The purchasers of my previous home bought my
living room furniture; I bought this new, smaller
ensemble. I'm really, really enjoying it!

Isn't this a terrific color combination?!
