From Birth-Day to Turkey-Day!
November 17th marked an unbelievable 57 years for me! I do believe I don't look it...but what does 57 look like? Wrinkles? I have a few. Grey hair...I have a few of those, too, but they are well-disguised. A bulging middle...well, I have a little "biscuit" at the waistline, but it is small and I'm grateful. Aches and pains? I have a few of those, too, but Aleve is wonderful medicine! I am a middle-aged woman, healthy, enthusiastic, fun-loving, god-fearing, and blessed beyond measure. Thanks be to God!
Office decorations compliments of my amazing employees!
Karen surprised me at work with a dozen beautiful yellow roses!
Turkey Day arrived with all it's 80-degree weather splendor in North Texas! The Vendsels, the Norvells and this 57-year old Greek Diva went walking for miles while the turkey was roasting. Then we indulged in our favorite foods: Roast Turkey, stuffing and gravy; cranberried yams; mashed potatoes; fresh steamed green beans; hard crusted french bread and homemade pumpkin pie on a flaky butter crust...my best ever! This was the first "married Thanksgiving" for Dave and Karen Norvell; so Karen thoughtfully telephoned her mother-in-law for a Norvell traditional recipe on Thanksgiving day...deviled eggs.
Dave loves the dark meat!
The happy siblings!

Yummy! I should have brought back some leftovers!
Love your post. You are beautiful at 57. I hope I look half as good at that age.
Great post mom! Makes me want this past week all over again. Love you!
Too cool. That pic of Dave is hilarious.
