I am a newly married, professional woman, in my late fifties. I work in the advertising media. I have a blended family: My loving husband, my son, two daughters, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law, PLUS my recently added stepson, stepdaughter and step son-in-law, and four precious grandchildren (one girl and three boys). The purpose of this blog is to communicate my thoughts, ideas, emotions and activities to my friends and loved-ones! Thus, the Angela Adventures!
I'm a "baby boomer" and I love my age (50's) and this wonderful period of my life as the mother of grown children and new grandmother to my inherited grandchildren. I am grateful to God for my position in life right now...wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister; boss and employee; neighbor and friend; and citizen of this wonderful country I live in.

I posted on my site after yours and then again on Karen's... then I realized that this is the more appropriate venue. =)
The baby is due in mid-September, though I'm expectiing him sooner than that. He's big, it's hot and mom is losing her sense of humor!
How well I remember! I wish you the best, and I'm lifting you both in prayer. This is a most exciting time in your lives; before you know it, he'll be meeting his bride-to-be, just like Dave met Karen! Time flies...especially when you are having fun. Enjoy...hope we meet soon; Karen and Dave speak fondly of you!
I'm ready for the IKEA furniture blog! We spent the evening with Dave and Karen last Monday, and now I need to hear YOUR side of the story! :)
